Start your youngsters on the right path early with Strider's ST-3 No-Pedal Balance Bike. They'll quickly and confidently learn to balance and steer as they comfortably put their feet on the ground to push off and run, while also using the built-in footrests for coasting. With a quick-release seatpost and handlebars, this sturdy steel bike comfortably fits kids from one to five years old, and the lightweight steel frame and small-diameter handgrips make it a breeze for them to maneuver. You'll love the durable, smooth-rolling, one-piece molded wheels with no-flat EVA polymer tires, too.

Great Bike My son was approximately 20 months old when he started out on the strider bike. At age 2 my son started riding his pedal bike (no training wheels) like a pro. Now I have to try to keep up with him. http://news4sanantonio.com/news/local/hes-only-two-and-hes-already-riding-a-bicycle
My son was born without a fully formed right hand, I actually doubted he'd be able to ride a bike without a full grip. I bought him the strider when he was 2 1/2 and there was no stopping him!! At 3 years and 2 months old, he jumped on a 2 wheeled pedal bike and without any assistance, he rode halfway down the block. It was just amazing. I tell everyone I know with young kids to buy a strider and only a strider!!
We gave this bike to our son last Christmas (2016) when he was 2.5 yrs old, he loved it from day one and was trying to balance by day 3! Thanks to this bike he has learned to balance quickly and just enjoy the outdoors! He rides it around the park, to school, and even down the mountain hills when I go hiking. This Christmas he received the 14X Strider and he was able to go straight to the pedals the first week at 3.5 yrs old! We are thrilled with his balancing skills and his overall confidence. Thank you Strider!!
I got this for my son at 16 months, and at first he just walked with this between his legs then at 22 months it clicked and he was looking for hills or any other excuse to keep his feet up. Now at 3 years old he loves to go mountain biking with his strider. Just watch out as there are no brakes other than feet.
Greyson and I have a blast tearing up the neighborhood. Bike is well built but still light enough for Greyson who just turned 2 years old. Can't say enough great things about the bike . Can't wait for his first Race ...
My son started riding his strider at 18 months old and still wearing diapers. This past year we have traveled all over Ny for BMX races. He loves it so much and puts in so much effort. He won the NYS race and is so proud of himself. Thank you Strider for the wonderful bike. Not only do my children get great exercise but it is building confidence.
The Strider bike is amazing. The balance and coordination our two year old learned riding this bike made for a "big boy" bike without training wheels. I have bought this for a nephew who just turned two. Best beginner bike available.
What a Great investment. My son was not quite 18months old and Santa brought him this bike. He rode it every where., started by walking, seated and so on. He ride inside the house and it made no marks on laminate floors, then we would go around the neighborhood. Rode it Forever, then I bought him a pedal bike and he didn't know how to pedal. So he used training wheels for a month then I took them off and literally gave him a little nudge and he was gone, he was 4 and riding a big boy bike, full of confidence
My 3yr old got has had his strider for a little over a year and has been in love since day one. He participated in the PA strider cup and came in 9th. He now rides a 14" pedal bike without training wheels and has no fear. Strider has given my son the confidence to ride and I love it. I have told everyone I know that the strider is a must have birthday or Holiday presents for a 1 to 1-1/2 year old....seriously go get one, you will not regret it!!!! Lastly, I don't believe the strider just helps with bike riding, my son can run so fast due to the muscle and exercise he has gotten from this great item. He can keep up with kids twice his age. Thank you strider!!!
3 years 9 moths old and my son just transitioned to a Trek 12" pedal bike. We took 1 lap around the block without the pedals and then put them back on. He was doing laps at full bore within 15 minutes. The Strider balance bike made the transition SOOOOO easy!! AND, because of the skills he learned on his Strider, he was able to start, stop, and negotiate turns without ANY intervention within 1/2 hour of riding his new pedal bike. Now my 1.5 year old will be starting the Strider.
